Chocolate Milkshake

In my haste to get some blog posts edited, I neglected to post this yesterday but here it is now.

Happy Blogtober, I plan to take part as much as I can but I’m never very good at posting everyday. Luckily I have a lot of things stored up to post about!

This simple recipe will make you 1 glass but you can easily scale up and share. I’ve used dairy free chocolate milk and yoomoo yoghurt but you can easily make this a regular milkshake using milk and ice cream or be super indulgent and add a splash of cream!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbs cocoa powder
  • 1 tbs hot water
  • 4 ice cubes (or frozen milk if you prefer)
  • 1 large scoop Yoomoo frozen yoghurt natural flavour
  • 60 ml FreeFrom coconut and chocolate milk (Got it from Tesco)
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • Sugar/Sweetener to taste

Make your cocoa powder and hot water into a paste. Add all your ingredients into your blender and pulse until smooth.

That’s it you’re done! So easy and delicious without needing chocolate syrup, so perfect if you’re watching your sugar…. Assuming you use frozen yoghurt and sweetener.

Enjoy!
